Regarding Gladwell's book, it doesn't take years of research to discover that, sadly, people rarely get what they deserve.
Regarding the study of imagination, I'm sorry, but maybe those who study imagination lack it? Again, it doesn't take years of research to discover that our minds, do indeed, create mental pictures.
