Between elections and Armistice Day, there’s not much going on this weekend in terms of festivals, with the notable exception of the Phoenix Parade of the Arts. Arts on parade! Literally!




So, as a result, we’re going spooky today! I’m fascinated by numbers stations, and a recent article on one mysterious station by Wired led to this discussion on Metafilter, which then led to listening to recordings from the Conet Project, and, well. Go and investigate, and then imagine these voices in the dead of night, with some echoing static, transmitting from an unknown location….
