I’ve read things about Freud being a complete coke head. He liked the dreams it offered him. Maybe, those who worship at Freud’s alter should keep that factoid in mind. Sure, he had some good ideas, but his inclination to sexualize everything seems more of a reflection of him, not the people with whom he worked.
We should learn from history! Perhaps drugs should be more available, eh?
